Ashley developed a passion for estate and estate-inspired fine jewelry, especially that of the art deco period, while working for fashionable retailers in New York City and Atlanta. The stories of renowned jewelers like Van Cleef & Arpels and Raymond C. Yard grew her love for the history contained in pieces of fine jewelry.

Even after departing from traditional retail to raise her children, Ashley sustained that love. But it took a slightly different form.

More interesting to Ashley became capturing that fine estate jewelry feel in understated and versatile pieces of fine jewelry that could be worn and enjoyed every day by the modern woman. She began dreaming of offering such women looking to accentuate their everyday outfits a one-stop shop for classic, estate-inspired pieces with a modern twist.

She dreamed that fine jewelry would not be hidden away in anticipation of a special occasion. She wished every day to feel special with stylish fine jewelry--the kind of fine jewelry that could see you through busy days in your crisp white button down shirt with blue jeans and into sophisticated nights on the social scene in your sexy black dress.

Ashley’s passion to make her dream a reality inspired the launch of the Honeybee Collection online retail boutique in 2007. Honeybee Collection is best described as classic estate-inspired fine jewelry, with a modern twist, intended to be worn and enjoyed every day.

Customers can either select from Honeybee Collection’s existing classic estate-inspired, modern fine jewelry, designed by a wide variety of talented jewelers, or work personally with Ashley to design the custom, one-of-a-kind piece of your dreams.
